MEMBER: CELLY LOVER

It's time for me to write about Celica again. I am refraining myself from falling in love with liftback Celica, but it seems that the 'aura' of this 1977 Toyota is stronger than any Japanese classics enthusiasts can bear. A true Japanese Nostalgic Car which brings the icon of 70's supercars, fastback design which reduces the Coefficient of Drag, and more importantly, it is the most handsome looking car among other Celica models.

If you remember previous post featuring 'Mango Lover', it is the same person who brought this TA28 back to its glory days. Bought in early 1998, the car had undergo many processes and stages before Mazli decided to restore his TA28 into full JDM Specs.

Taken during Borneo Car Enthusiasts Gathering 2011. Notice Mazli's Sprinter KE25 parked next to this TA28.

Only needs a set of front lip for more muscular looks. I once asked him to put it on, but he kept on denying. Until now I don't get the real answer. (Someone please beg him!)

I have always liked quarter rear view of any classic coupe, that we can't find on modern sports cars. Don't you feel the same guys?

Retro wheel is a must for retro cars right? He managed to find a set of super negative offset retro wheels, 7JJ/9JJ Enkei AP Racing for this TA28, wrapped with limited 215/50/13 Bridgestone Tyre with white colored wordings.

Needless to say, expensive and rare TA28 bullet fender mirror, and a custom-made air-scoop to provide more oxygen to its first-gen twin cam Toyota heart.

...and yes, you are going to 'hate' him more!

Enough of 'poisoning'. See you guys in next post.
