MEMBER: OLD IS GOLD

Meet Corolla's predecessor, the KE10 with pushrod powered engine which was first introduced to the world in 1966. Salleh (in the middle) accompanied by Joseph Ng (right) are damn lucky to find this KE10 in perfect condition. Why did I say perfect? Because this car got all of its parts and accessories as when it went out of Toyota factory in 1960's. Picture taken during meet up with the seller. As you can see, the feeling of buying a car from a careful, first, and veteran owner, is priceless.

Sharing a great footage featuring Hanif Hazemi's Senyumsuka. If you wondering, Senyumsuka is adapted from the facelift of JDM TE37, which shows a smile expression. Senyum means smile/grin while suka means like/pleasure/fancy. SPOTTED: R.I.P. FORGOTTEN HERO

It is really disappointing to spot a 'scrapped' legend when you go for parts hunting. This car had a great reputation before and it was owned by a performance workshop, before I spotted this TA40 abandoned at the roadside, and then at this scrapyard few years after that. However, it is a good platform for a track car as I can say it is salvageable based on the chassis condition.

It's time for me to write about Celica again. I am refraining myself from falling in love with liftback Celica, but it seems that the 'aura' of this 1977 Toyota is stronger than any Japanese classics enthusiasts can bear. A true Japanese Nostalgic Car which brings the icon of 70's supercars, fastback design which reduces the Coefficient of Drag, and more importantly, it is the most handsome looking car among other Celica models.

I found this advertisement in miricommunity.net. It looks sleeper but the engine bay made me drooling! Eventually, it's from my hometown and never spotted it on the road before.

SPOTTED: HIBERNATING S30

A visit to my friend's garage brought me to this amazing S30 240Z. Restoration work on the chassis and painting were done, but this lady is currently undergoing major heart transplant. Looks like she is going to 'bite' any opponents out there!

SPOTTED: ABANDONED 300Z

How much do you like a Nissan Fairlady 300Z? I'm pretty sure this lady will be a head-turner with proper tuning and styling. Yeah I know 240/260Z looks far better than this, and it will be no longer there if it's a 240/260Z. But this lady deserves a second chance!

I spotted her in front of body workshop and has been abandoned for years. Where are you Mr. Owner?

MEMBER: MANGO LOVER

Well here we are again, with one of the best Japanese Nostalgic Car, a 1975 Toyota Corolla Sprinter (KE25/TE27) 2 Door Coupe. I myself have always liked this car since middle school and keeping desire to own one. To me, it has its own character with perfectly designed bodylines, round lamps, inclined forward front face and sexy ass.

  

MEMBER: NOT YOUR ORDINARY HARDTOP

Back in 90's, we may spot a lot of third-gen Corollas cruising on the road; and for sure, it is driven by old chap in their 50's or older. But nowadays, it is one of hot stuff hunted by young fella as a restoration project due to its aerodynamics bodyline, which creates a fierce look.

SPYSHOOT: MINI ANYONE?

Spotted this Mini Austin under finishing process. It is adorable isn't it? A chick-magnet if it is properly restored with original parts and some mild offset British wheels. It is seldom to spot this type of continental lurking around in Miri, but I hope to see at least one Mini joining OCCC to add the varieties.

SPYSHOOT: ORANGE AGAIN. BUT THIS TIME, PEANUT

Ever came across with a stock peanut and even with its original factory rim cap? By the way, it is a Toyota Corolla 1200 (KE20) 2 door sedan produced in 1980's. I personally would opt to peanut if I can not find a mango.

Another Toyota's legendary machine, Celica LB TA28 owned by OCCC's member, Nazri Mokhtar. The car was in junk condition when it is bought, where everyone thought it is unsalvageable. However, this lucky guy proved that nothing is impossible when there is a will.

SPYSHOOT: LADY IN STRIPE

It was a pleasure to meet this lady, a Datsun 240Z which is still in good shape and neat condition. Obviously an eye-catcher even though for those who are not into oldskool cars. Thumbs up to the owner for keeping his lady in this condition, perhaps she needs a set of retro wheels with crazy offset to make it looks even sexier.
